Terms and Conditions of Booking a Tour
Farley Farm House is a privately owned House and collection managed by Penrose Film
Productions. We Welcome visitors and the revenue received helps us maintain the house
and keep it open to the public and visiting researchers. We do however reserve the right
to refuse entry and also to make changes without notice to the advertised schedules.
Safety:
Farley Farm House (a listed building) is a personal and historic creation, maintained
as faithfully as possible in the style of Roland Penrose and Lee Miller. Please understand
it does not and cannot provide ideal access conditions for everyone, as there are low beams,
uneven floors and other such features inherent in an old farmhouse and garden. We ask that
everyone is aware of this, and that our instructions concerning safety be complied with.
Please notify us if you have special access requirements amoung your party and we will do
out best to accommodate you within the physical restrictions of the house.
Tickets:
Tickets for all types of tours at Farley Farm House are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Deposits or payments for group tours are also non – returnable and non-refundable.
Material that may cause offence:
As some of the material in the house and garden may
cause offence it is highly recommended that those under the age of 12 do not attend
the Tours and under the age of 15 years attend the Extended Tours. Topics in the Tours
include the Holocaust, the violence of war, rape, nudity of an explicit nature,
heterosexual and homosexual relationships and some religious references.
Photography:
For copyright reasons, we regret that no photography is permitted in the house.
Outside the house photographs may be taken for personal use only.
Personal Property:
We ask all visitors to not bring bulky items or bags with them, there is a designated
area within the house where some items may be left, but whilst security precautions
are taken we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to visitors property including
motor cars whilst on the premises.
Changes:
It is our intention to provide you with the full tour as set out in our literature plus
any special additional arrangements agreed in advance. However, due to the personal nature
of the tours and our limited reasources there may be rare occasions when variations to the
normal arrangements or re-scheduling are introduced.
We ask you to understand that some works of art or areas of the house shown on this
website may not be on display at the time of your visit as they may be on loan to an
exhibition or undergoing conservation work. If there is a specific work that you wish to
see we advise asking of it will be on display when booking.
Public Liability:
Penrose Film Productions – managing agents of Farley Farm House carries public liability insurance.
